HOLIDAY MEAL PROGRAM 

Our most needed holiday foods:

• Turkey, ham, or roasting chicken (more smaller sizes are needed)

• Fresh potatoes, yams, and onions

• Stuffing & Gravy

• Flour & Sugar

• Butter & Eggs

• Canned corn & canned green beans

• Canned fruit

• Pie or dessert: any flavor, fresh, frozen, boxed, or the fixing's

• Soup & stews

• Cereal (hot & cold)

Where and When to Donate:

• Accepting donations through December 23. Families start receiving holiday meals from late October until December 23, so donations arriving earlier are helpful.

• Donations can be delivered during regular business hours.

• Evening/Weekend Delivery: Email director@thesharingcenter.net to schedule a night or weekend delivery.

CHRISTMAS GIFT PROGRAM

About This Year's Child Gift Program

1. We anticipate serving up to 800 children this season, and many Center children are teens who wear adult-sized clothing.

2. This year, our new "Winter Wonderland" area will allow families to self-select gifts and clothing for each child from a wide array of options. 

3. This new process will be more time—and cost-efficient for families and donors. So far, donors and families are loving it! 

 

Ways You Can Help

1. If you liked our Adopt-A-Child program in the past, you can still shop for specific aged children by donating items in the same manner and quantity. (e.g., clothing, bedding, and gifts for each child)

2. We appreciate donations in multiples, for instance, 5 sets of pajamas or 10 games.

 

Our Top Needs This Holiday Season:

• 1500 new or gently used books and magazines in Spanish and English

• 600 new pajama sets and pajama pants size 4T to adult 3X

• 300 new warm twin and full blankets

• 400 new board and card games in Spanish and English

• New, unwrapped gifts/toys for all ages. Often, we run low on:

  • Craft kits, paints, canvases, and other art supplies

  • Gifts for Teens: shaving kits, makeup kits, Bluetooth speakers, charging blocks, STEM kits

  • Snow boots: sizes child 5-13, youth 1-5, and adult 6-13

  • Diapers and Pullups in all sizes and diaper wipes
